Duties and Responsibilities:
• Acts as the primary contact for the general contractor and/or owner.
• Lead and attend project meetings, maintain communication regarding all project related matters
• Review Contracts, Project Plans and Specifications
• Prepare subcontract agreements, purchase orders, schedule of values and customer billings
• Review submittals and shop drawings for accuracy, efficiency, and clarity
• Responsible for the purchasing, scheduling and delivery of equipment and materials required for the project, ensure accuracy to project plans and specifications
• Prepare and submit change order estimates and work orders, confirm completion of changes
• Identify and recommend appropriate cost savings/value engineering items
• Work with general contractor and/or owner, subcontractors, vendors and various internal departments and field throughout the negotiation process, provide clarification and resolution as needed
• Prepare work order and budget for any change order work
• Monitor job cost and update budget constantly
• Identify, analyze and resolve problems through RFI process, define any cost or schedule impact
• Mentor and train junior engineers
• Provide project schedule and updates to the appropriate departments
• Prepare and submit closing documents, maintain all project documentation diligently
• Execute all project tasks to specifications, Company standards, and the Client’s expectations
• All other assignment as determined by management
Desired Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred)
• 3+ years of proven experience in HVAC trade
• Project management experience
• Strong knowledge of Trade Standards and Practices, building codes and standards
• Ability to read and understand specifications and plans
• Proficiency of cost estimating including labor units used for estimating and material costing
• Perform complex tasks and handle multiple priorities while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
• Excellent time management skills, proven ability to meet all required deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn various computer programs

- Supervise and oversee HVAC technicians in the installation, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Ensure that all work is completed according to project specifications, safety guidelines, and industry standards.
- Review and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide technicians in their work.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to schedule and plan HVAC projects.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets quality standards.
- Train and mentor HVAC technicians on best practices and new technologies.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project costs.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate and delegate tasks to team members.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety guidelines.
