*Senior Office Administrator - Food Manufacturing* *Job Description* As our Senior Office Administrator, you will play a key role in the smooth operation of our Gelato production business.
With our Office Team and working closely with our Production Team, you will provide excellent customer service, schedule gelato production, dispatch gelato deliveries, maintain inventories of supplies and ingredients and perform regular bookkeeping functions.
*Office Manager Responsibilities:* * Provide excellent customer service * Manage sales/order desk operation and the processing of orders * Work closely with Production Team to schedule gelato production * Maintain gelato inventory system in QuickBooks * Motivate and supervise the Office Team * Organize delivery routes and dispatch delivery drivers * Help drivers stage and load out items for delivery * Manage inventories and purchasing of ingredients and supplies * Receive and check-in vendor deliveries.
* Supervise regular bookkeeping functions (A/R & A/P) using QuickBooks * Maintain logs & files * Organize vehicle maintenance and paperwork.
* Help promote a company culture of happy and productive team members *Skills* * Excellent customer service and communication skills * A positive cheerful attitude * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Strong organizational skills * Ability to build and lead a happy productive team * Knowledge of Oahu geography and ability to dispatch delivery drivers * Basic Bookkeeping knowledge * Proficiency with QuickBooks * Proficiency with Excel * Proficiency with high volume email management using either Gmail or Outlook * Through understanding office practices and management * Ability to perform occasional light to medium physical tasks *Education And Experience* * A proven record of dependable attendance and superior performance * 4+ years of office experience * 1+ years of office management/supervision experience * Customer Service experience * Experience with basic bookkeeping functions (A/R & A/P) using QuickBooks.
* Experience with high volumes of email using either Gmail or Microsoft Outlook * Experience using Excel in a business environment * Oahu area dispatching experience a plus * Restaurant industry experience a plus * Production kitchen experience a plus * Associate degree or additional relevant experience * Bachelor’s degree a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,000.
