*Position*
We are seeking a skilled Residential Solar Service Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, wiring, and troubleshooting PV (photovoltaic) and battery systems.
In addition, familiarity with Generac, Tesla, and SolarEdge technologies is required for this role.
The candidate must also be comfortable working at heights and adhere to safety regulations, including possessing OSHA 10 certification.
Prior fall protection certification is preferred.
*Although service will be the primary focus of this role, assisting on new PV installations will also be required depending on installation capacity needs.
This includes commissioning battery and PV systems after the construction is complete.

*RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Install, wire, and troubleshoot residential PV and battery systems
* Perform maintenance and repair tasks on solar energy systems
* Conduct system inspections and diagnose technical issues
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion
* Adhere to safety protocols, including both OSHA and company requirements
* Provide exceptional customer service with every customer interaction
* Offer real-time updates on job status to direct supervisor
* Document pre and post visit findings and completed work
* Gather required photos, and update job status in real time
* Accurately track and document equipment and material issued and used
* Inspect and repair roof damage or issues related to leaks
* Complete entirely or assist with Main Panel and Sub Panel upgrades
* Assist with installation of new PV and battery systems
* Perform other related duties, as assigned
*REQUIREMENTS*
* Ability to read plan sets and develop overall successful strategies to complete service calls, repairs and installations
* Understanding of NEC codes
* Ability to safely handle tools and materials such as: ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries, and other similar electrical equipment, lumber, roofing materials, etc.
* Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc.
)
* Ability to work at heights including on rooftops, climbing ladders and stairs
* Capable of performing repetitive duties, including lifting, bending and standing for long periods of time
* Experience using tradesman hand and power tools
* Basic computer skills required
* A working cell phone with space for required monitoring and documentation apps
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent customer service skills
* Exceptional attendance and reliability
* Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
* Experience in troubleshooting PV systems and electrical systems.
* Experience in troubleshooting Solar Edge, Tesla and Enphase photovoltaic equipment and systems preferred.

Salary: $28.
00 - $40.
00 per hour (additional consideration if candidate holds Electrical Trade License)
