Painter Responsibilities
Preparing painting surfaces by washing walls, repairing holes, or removing old paint
Mixing, matching, and applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces
Providing decorative and faux finishes as the project requires
Preparing the surrounding area by covering with cloth or plastic to prevent messes
Handling planning and prep work in an efficient manner
Communicating with clients to ensure they’re getting the look they’re hoping for
Flexible schedule / ability to work weekends required
Reliable transportation and own tools required
Drywall/Carpenter Responsibilities
Drywall patching; tape, mud, sand and painting
Mounting 3/4″ plywood backer boards on home exterior for hanging electrical & batteries
Additional custom carpentry as needed
May need to join PV installation crew as needed and be comfortable working on a roof
Flexible schedule / ability to work weekends required
Reliable transportation and own tools required
To be considered for this opportunity you must be able to:
Climb ladders to get on a roof
Work on roofs for 4-6 hours a day
Ability to bend conduit is a plus
You must also possess the following experience:
1+ year experience working on a roof
1+ year working in the construction industry
Electrical experience is a plus
PV experience is a plus
Other requirements:
Must have a valid HI Driver’s License
Must pass a Motor Vehicle Report (no DUIs in the last 7 years)
Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
