SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems and performs preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on various equipment and HVAC systems such as, but not limited to, environmental chambers, shaker system, and chillers.
Creates and maintains equipment records.
Performs general facility maintenance such as, but not limited to, changing light bulbs and minor drywall repair.
Mechanical Assembly: Duties require the use of manual and powered hand tools, hardware identification and installation and the ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, diagrams, and assembly instructions.
Cable and Wire Harness Assembly: Duties require fabrication, installation and routing of high power and RF cables/wire harnesses.
Support Production and R&D department as needed.
Willing to obtain forklift and scissor lift certifications.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Abilities, Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend mechanical drawings, component datasheets, wiring diagrams and block diagrams.
Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, etc.
Must have strong communication skills (written and verbal).
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate Degree from an accredited two-year college or university program in one of the following: Electrical Technology or Electro-Mechanical Technology, or equivalent training in the Military.
1-3 years assembly experience in electronics manufacturing.
Forklift and/or scissor lift certification
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
