*Overview:*
Alan Shintani, Inc.
is looking for an ambitious, self-motivated Construction Project Engineer to be a part of the ASI Ohana.
For more than 35 years, Alan Shintani, Inc.
has been recognized for years in the construction community for providing quality, dependable, general contracting services for various types of projects and clients.
We provide general construction as well as construction workeragement services for residential, commercial, and government/institutional projects.
ASI has a solid foundation and the capability to take on a wide range of projects with different scopes and requirements which resulted in receiving several awards and commendations from various government agencies over the years.
*Qualifications:*
* Four (4) year Engineering, Architectural, or Construction degree or equivalent technical training and experience
* Five (5) years of construction building experience
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to pass a background check to obtain base passes
*Responsibilities:*
The Project Engineer will basically assist the Project Manager with duties to include, but not limited to, the following:
* Layout coordination and create a schedule to support field staff and subcontractors on the project.
* Jobsite documentation such as submittals, QC reports, meeting minutes, daily reports, test reports, etc.
* Perform Quality Control and conduct regular QC meetings with subcontractors
* Complete budget revisions, change orders, and pay estimates where applicable
* Estimating tasks such as Quantity surveys/takeoffs, obtaining sub/suppliers pricing
