*Duties and Responsibilities: *
General Laborers carry out a range of manual labor tasks related to landscaping, painting, carpentry, masonry, and welding.
Their work may involve the safe use of various hand tools, machinery, and equipment.
Here are the key duties and responsibilities:
*Perform Physical Labor Tasks: *
* Digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials and equipment.
* Operating tools or machinery as required for specific tasks (e.
g.
, lawn mowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, chain saws, spray painter, power drills, power saws or welding machine).
*Assist in Prepping Buildings for Painting and Taking Down Painting Materials and Equipment:*
* Prepare job sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
* Put together and take apart temporary structures (such as scaffolding, ladders and drop cloths).
* Be able to climb a ladder/scaffold, and work on top of a roof.
*Safety Procedures and Reporting: *
* Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violaƟons to the appropriate authority.
*General Maintenance and Cleaning: *
* Ensure a safe and tidy work site.
*Assist Skilled Workers: *
* Support skilled workers (e.
g.
, carpenters, welders, painters, gardeners) in their duties.
* Conduct Fire Watch Safety, while Welding Machine is in use.
* Assist and perform general maintenance repair tasks on townhouse buildings and surrounding grounds.
*Material Handling: *
* Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks/vans and deliver them to the appropriate locations.
*Basic Carpentry Skills: *
* Measure, cut, or shape wood and other materials.
*Qualifications To excel as a General Laborer, candidates should meet the following qualifications: *
* Valid Driver’s License
* Punctuality and Reliability
* Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including lifting and bending and being able to pull out and push back 3.
