Accounts Manager

The ideal candidate for this position will understand the day-to-day dynamics of landscape operations for new and existing landscape design, construction and maintenance for commercial and residential properties across Oahu Island, Hawaii.
Responsibilities:
§ Personal alignment with our Core Values and Mission, and a desire to live by them.
§ Lead, manage and hold accountable, all members of the construction department.
o Give clear and direct orders to specific personal
o Train & Explain procedures, safety, mission, culture etc.

o Provide disciplinary talks, write ups, suspensions and terminations as needed.
§ Keep tabs on the personnel needs of your department and ensure our recruitment team is aware of personal needs.
§ Oversee daily operations of installation department, address issues and create solutions.
§ Assist in the creation and regular maintenance of the Future Install Schedule.
§ Ensure there is a detailed plan for each day including personal per project, goals, per project, trucking, supplies, equipment etc… created and distributed the day before.
Ensure all personal understand the daily mission.
§ Communicate regularly via email.
§ Ensure introduction emails regarding the start of new projects are sent to clients the week prior.
§ Meet all department members at the shop on Monday mornings to achieve the following
o Provide weekly schedule and explain logistics and job specifics to the crews
o Provide Safety training and acquire documentation
o Update the Personal board and ensure the correct placement of crew members including working with maintenance department as needed.
§ Ensure your crews are properly equipped to perform each project.
§ Gather names for Saturday work by Thursday.
§ Ensure a sufficient inventory of all needed supplies.
§ Ensure department trucks are kept clean and organized.
§ Ensure personal are provided with and using the appropriate PPE for each project.
§ Ensure the installation of Erosion Control measures as needed for each project.
§ Keep track of equipment.
§ Participate in Lv.
10 Meetings, strive to bring up issues, solve issues, complete To-Dos and Rocks.
§ Ensure Hydro sprig Maintenance is properly “Handed Off” to the Maintenance department.
§ Understand the specifics of each project you are working on and ensure our team and the client are on the same page.
o Conduct Pre-Construction Meeting with Sales Rep & Client.
§ Before Project Begins: Call and email your clients the week before the start of the project.
o Give start date
o Introduce yourself
o Set up initial walk-through Date & Time
o Provide contact Info
o Pre-order materials
o Line up SUB contractors
§ Project Begins: Conduct morning walk through with client and crew to:
o Set expectations with client
o Instruct / help the crew as needed.
§ Project Continues: Check in with client & crew in person (minimum 1x every other day).
o Walk through
o Visual inspection
o Send Email Client & Team to document or notify:
§ Changes to project / change orders
§ Update of progress & next steps
§ Any relevant info
§ Project Close Out: Conduct walk through with client and foreman to
o Assess progress
o Write close-out List and to client & team
o Complete close out items and send completion summary via email.
o Ensure satisfaction completion
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $65,000.
