Salary Range: $90,000-$120,000
JOB TITLE: Quality Control Manager
BUSINESS SERVICE LINE: Construction – Operations & Maintenance
REPORTS TO: Program Manager/Contract Maintenance Manager
SUMMARY: Responsible for coordinating, overseeing, and documenting the Quality Control Program for medical facility operations and maintenance at the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton and outlying sites in San Bernardino County, CA, Yuma County, AZ, and Ventura County, CA.
Identifies, analyzes, and develops improvements in productivity, client relationships, and customer service as they relate to the Quality Management System.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the Quality Control for operation and maintenance services at facilities to include: all plumbing systems, medical gas systems, fire suppression systems, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, electrical systems, electronic systems, building exterior, interior finishes, Joint Commission deficiency correction, and central utility plants in accordance with ALL installation, state, and Federal codes and laws.
Perform contract site audits and ensure adherence to company SOPs/policies, contract Statement of Work, and applicable laws and standards.
Lead quality investigations on contract issues.
Document quality control through specified formats, including job notes, meeting minutes, daily reports, and photos.
Lead communications with government, corporate, and subcontractor personnel regarding quality control status and adjustments.
Maintain quality control deficiency log and issue deficiency notifications.
Schedule third party testing and collect, submit, and maintain all required reports.
Adhere to site safety and health standards.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Indirectly supervises employees and provides feedback to direct managers
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 5 years quality control experience in a healthcare setting
Experience in at lest 2 Joint Commission hospital surveys
Construction Quality Management for Contractors course through USACE preferred
Working experience with NFPA, EPA, TJC, OSHA codes and standards
Capable of obtaining unescorted facility access through favorable completion of a background check
Must have excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Able to read, write, speak, and understand English

While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet, but can be moderate or loud during some project work
The employee must occasionally lift and /or move more than 50 pounds
