HOUSING-ZONING CODE INSPECTOR I (SR-14) [3 vacancies]

JOB Assists in the inspection of commercial and residential buildings and other structures used for habitation for compliance with provisions of the City and County Housing Code; inspects sites and inspecting buildings/sites of limited size and scope for compliance with provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Code; inspects sidewalk areas and vacant lots for compliance with pertinent ordinances; issues citations and recommends corrective action for non-conformance; maintains records and prepares reports of inspections; and performs other duties as required.
Current Vacancies: There are three (3) vacancies with the Department of Planning and Permitting, Customer Service Office.
The current vacancies require the use of a personal vehicle and valid automobile insurance coverage (mileage will be reimbursed).
