_ _Salary Range: $105,000-$135,000_ *JOB TITLE:* Senior Construction Project Manager *BUSINESS SERVICE LINE:* PAC – Honolulu Office *REPORTS TO:* Construction Program Manager *SUMMARY: SUMMARY:* As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you will assume a leadership role in overseeing and managing complex construction projects within our organization, including those that are high risk and high visibility.
Drawing upon your extensive experience and expertise in project management, you will be responsible for strategic planning, execution, and successful completion of projects while ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
Your strong leadership abilities, advanced project management skills, and proven track record will be pivotal in driving project success, managing critical paths, addressing scope gaps, and mitigating risks in high-risk and high-visibility projects in the construction industry.
*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* *Project Planning and Strategy:* * Take the lead in project planning efforts, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with industry best practices.
* Identify critical paths within projects to ensure efficient project scheduling and resource allocation, while prioritizing high-risk and high-visibility tasks.
* Develop comprehensive project plans encompassing tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and dependencies, considering the complexities of large-scale construction projects.
* Conduct thorough analysis of potential risks, scope gaps, and other challenges specific to high-risk and high-visibility projects, and develop robust mitigation strategies to proactively address them.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to align project goals with organizational objectives, client requirements, and industry regulations.
*Team Leadership and Management:* * Provide visionary leadership by building and leading high-performing project teams, assigning responsibilities, and fostering a culture of excellence, especially in high-risk and high-visibility projects.
* Mentor and guide project team members, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and professional development to tackle critical path tasks effectively.
* Optimize resource allocation and utilization to ensure efficient project execution, while overseeing the overall performance and coordination of team members in high-risk and high-visibility projects.
* Conduct regular project team meetings to communicate updates, address challenges, and align priorities to achieve project objectives, with a focus on critical path tasks and scope gap mitigation.
* Champion continuous improvement initiatives, promoting the adoption of industry best practices, new technologies, and innovative solutions within the construction project management team, particularly in high-risk and high-visibility projects.
*Project Execution and Monitoring:* * Oversee project execution, closely monitoring progress, milestones, and adherence to project timelines and budgets, with a specific focus on high-risk and high-visibility projects.
* Collaborate with project team members to proactively identify and address critical path delays, scope gaps, and risks unique to high-risk and high-visibility projects.
* Regularly engage with stakeholders to provide transparent project updates, highlighting performance, risks, and proactive mitigation strategies related to critical path tasks and scope gap challenges.
* Ensure adherence to industry standards, building codes, safety regulations, and quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle, paying particular attention to high-risk and high-visibility projects.
* Implement effective cost and budget management strategies, including accurate expense tracking, forecasting, and control measures, specifically for high-risk and high-visibility projects.
*Stakeholder Management and Communication:* * Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for high-risk and high-visibility projects.
* Communicate effectively to establish clear expectations, address concerns, and facilitate collaborative decision-making among stakeholders, with a focus on critical path tasks, scope gap resolution, and risk mitigation.
* Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, anticipating their needs and providing timely and accurate project status reports related to critical path tasks and scope gap challenges.
* Deliver engaging presentations to stakeholders, showcasing project achievements, challenges, and recommendations for informed decision-making in high-risk and high-visibility projects.
* Promote a transparent and inclusive communication environment, ensuring stakeholders are engaged and informed throughout the project lifecycle, particularly for high-risk and high-visibility projects.

_ *QUALIFICATIONS:* * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.
g.
, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management) or 10 years equivalent experience.
* Proven experience as a Project Manager, successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
* Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
* Sound knowledge of project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset.
* Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects concurrently, and adapt to changing priorities.
* PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices related to project management.
