We are looking for a driven and curious Project Controls professional in (Honolulu, HI), to support our General Engineering Consultant team at HART for the Honolulu Rail Transit Program.
Jacobs is seeking an experienced Project Controls Engineer with at least 7+ years of experience for a major transportation program.
The ideal candidate will be creative and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
We'll Expect You To: • Develop project control systems and processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness in controlling costs, scheduling, and estimating • Compile and maintain cost estimates for the HRTP • Monitor and analyze project performance and progress against project milestones • Analyze project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies • Develop and maintain project budget plans, cost-benefit analyses, and forecasting • Compile updated project schedules and provide support for project scheduling • Identify and analyze project issues and provide solutions • Develop and maintain project performance reports • Coordinate and ensure compliance with contract requirements • Prepare project and financial reports for management review • Interface with internal and external stakeholders Here’s What You’ll Need: • At least 7 years of project cost controls experience • Experience with Primavera P6 • Experience working on various projects to include coordinating and executing project issues • Specific experience in CPM Scheduling with Primavera P6, cost engineering functions, including cost control, change management and cost projection analysis • Experience in project controls, commercial operations, with emphasis on project controls and financial issues Ideally, here’s what you’ll also have: • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or other business management related degree • Primavera P6 resource and cost loading • Skills with Excel Macro level, Databases (MS Access), Power BI and dashboard development • MS Project experience • Cost estimating experience At Jacobs, we’re challenging today to reinvent tomorrow by solving the world’s most critical problems for thriving cities, resilient environments, mission-critical outcomes, operational advancement, scientific discovery and cutting-edge manufacturing, turning abstract ideas into realities that transform the world for good.
