The Kupaa Group is a seasoned and established IT consulting company.
We are in need of a IT specialist who is *local resident of Hawaii and lives on the island of Oahu* to join our team! You will resolve and support our clients in the everyday IT related business operations.
This position is a client facing role, so solid communications skills and an ability to uncover unmet needs are critical for success.
Applicant shall have strong client service skills, fundamental IT knowledge of windows infrastructure client/server environments, inclusive of active directory.
Applicant shall have fundamental experience with virtualization infrastructure inclusive of Vmware, Hyper-V, and other container management solutions.
Applicant shall have fundamental experience with Firewall configurations, security access control lists, and routing.
Applicant shall have fundamental experience with VLANs and routing.
Applicant shall have experience with server side, NAS, and SAN storage.
Applicant shall have Infrastructure knowledge of industry best practices , and the ability to complete documentation activities of services performed for clients.
Applicant must have reliable transportation.
Duties:
· Perform implementation and installation IT hardware, software, and network.
· Perform implementation and maintenance of IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS of solutions and providers.
· Provide client user support for IT environment.
· Perform routine maintenance IT hardware, software, and network.
· Provide client user support for IT environment.
· Troubleshoot and repair IT environment.
· Provide administrative support for virtualized environments.
· Provide administrative support for Windows environments.
· Provide client user support Mac OS environments.
· Recommend hardware and software improvements
· Track customer issues and resolutions
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in IT support, IT customer service, Infrastructure buildout, Infrastructure maintenance, or other IT related fields
· Ability to build rapport with clients
· Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
· Strong written and verbal skills
· Positive and professional demeanor

Pay: $60,000.
