Ground Transport, Inc.
is a locally owned School Bus Transportation Company that has been operating in Hawaii for over 33 years.
We are expanding our operations and seeking a hands-on Facilities Coordinator who will be responsible for all of our Oahu, Maui and Big Island Facilities/Buildings and Base Yards.
This position is a full-time which is required to report to the Kapolei, Oahu office, Monday – Friday.
Travel to Maui and the Big Island will also be required periodically.
Responsibilities will include:
• Manage the upkeep of buildings, yards, equipment and supplies to meet all Fire and OSHA health and safety standards.
• Maintain and keep all OSHA records updated and properly filed
• Update and maintain all facilities logs, records and reports
• Inspecting buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
• Work with team member(s) to ensure facilities are properly maintained
• Monitor and ensure the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, and parking lots
• Schedule routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors.
• Maintain day-to-day operations of facilities, ordering supplies and completing maintenance orders.
• Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety, and other occurrences as needed
Requirements:
• Minimum 3-years’ experience in Facility Maintenance and Management
• Extensive knowledge of current Fire and OSHA regulations and record-keeping
• Knowledge and Ability to perform basic maintenance
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with varying degrees of importance
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word/Excel/Outlook)
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively, respectfully and cooperatively with all employees from officers to staff, as well as the customers, vendors, etc.
