Reporting to the Sr Manager, Process Controls, you will be providing exemplary customer service to our clients by ensuring the refinery meets and exceeds the expectations of the Hawaii Refining and Logistics team.
As part of your specific responsibilities, in the following areas, you will: Provide system maintenance support including problem diagnosis, unscheduled maintenance repairs, planned preventive maintenance and system upgrades.
Provide data control system administration, programming, control configuration changes and graphic display building.
Be responsible for Advanced Process Controls support including multivariable and model predictive control applications.
Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programming also required.
Provide technical support on the Foxboro IA, PLCs, Triconex SIS, Process Control Network (PCN) firewalls, Operational Technology (OT) network security and other complex special purpose control systems.
Safely shutdown system testing and the development of test procedures.
Education and support operations personnel on the function of unit process controls, monitor control loop performance and tune control loops.
Manage field installation, loop check, construction, commissioning, and system testing for projects.
Follow safe work practices and ensure that all DCS support work follows the refinery Process Safety Management procedures.
