*OVERVIEW:*
Entry-level opportunity to learn everything there is to know about remodeling and restoration.
Helper work under the supervision and guidance of Senior Tech.
Will assist Tech.
Responsible for maintaining job site cleanliness.
*PRIMARY DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, and REQUIREMENTS:*
* Provide a valid Hawaii driver’s license driving abstract.
Must have valid auto insurance.
* Understand the scope of work for the project.
* Coordinate with Senior Tech on type of tools, equipment, consumable, and non-consumables materials needed for projects.
* Coordinate with Facility Manager on obtaining and signing out for tools, equipment, consumable, and non-consumables materials needed for project.
* Transport equipment, tools, and material to/from worksite and demolition.
* Set up equipment in preparation of project scope of work.
* Assemble and install products and components
* Attention to detail / Cleanliness of work site at all times.
* Clean up work site daily and thoroughly after project conclusion.
* Maintain a safe work environment.
Identify any unsafe environment to Tech.
Stop work.
* Maintain positive relationships with customers and management to ensure services being provided in a professional manner.
*SECORDARY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Assist Senior Tech in all duties requested and primary tasks.
* Knowledge of Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials to assist Senior Tech.
* Team player – Efficiently working together with Senior Tech to accomplish goals and tasks.
*COMPETENCY and KNOWLEDGE:*
* Basic knowledge of remodeling and restoration.
* Familiar with manual and power tools and equipment.
* Strong math skills.
* Knowledge and use of wet/dry vacuums and all dust collector systems.
* Knowledge and use of pop-up walls and coverings, tac pads.
* Work site awareness- #1 Primary duty is being first line of defense against cleanliness, tripping hazards, and an organized work site of Materials.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.
00 - $20.
00 per hour
