Responsibilities:
- Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems under the guidance of a licensed electrician
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Assist in the construction and installation of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as wiring, conduit bending, and troubleshooting
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on job sites
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or enrollment in a recognized apprenticeship program
- Knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and safety procedures
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Basic understanding of high voltage systems
- Experience with frame carpentry is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
