Solar Technician

Job Summary: We are a growing small business based out of the eastside of O'ahu - Ho'a Solar Inc.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Technician to join our team.
As a Solar Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar energy systems, primarily solar hot water systems.
This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to work at heights and various residential and commercial locations across O'ahu.
Duties: - Install solar panels, inverters, and other components of solar energy systems - Perform routine maintenance on solar systems to ensure optimal performance - Troubleshoot and repair any issues with solar panels or electrical components - Conduct inspections to identify potential problems or areas for improvement - Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget - Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards Requirements: - Previous experience as a Solar Technician or in a similar role is preferred _(willing to train the right candidate)_ - Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions _(the sun)_ Benefits: -Kaiser Health Insurance -Dental Insurance - includes (2) $0 cleanings per year -401k with a 5% Company Match -Tuition/Certification Reimbursement or Payment We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
