General Laborer

Work Location: Pearl Harbor, HI General Laborer Job Summary: Rivet is looking to add a General Laborer to are team at the Pearl Harbor Navy Shipyard in Hawaii.
This position will assist facilities support and duties will be performed on-site.
The ideal candidate shall perform work during standard PHNSY&IMF working hours (0630 – 1500) unless specifically requested and agreed upon 5 days in advance, at a minimum.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance: Facilities preventative maintenance, repair, renovation, removal, and disposal Waterfront cleanup & disposal of material Furniture repair, installation, relocation, removal, & disposal Hurricane and inclement weather preparation and facilities tie-downs Vegetation control & removal Minor facilities maintenance work including carpentry, painting, roofing, and welding.

citizens Personnel are required to successfully obtain and maintain background investigations for base access 2+ years of experience performing general labor functions Experience in Construction preferred Physical Requirements Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.
There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required.
Possible lifting up to 40 lbs.
