Position Summary A GIS Specialist position is available with the Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CEMML).
This position provides GIS and spatial services support to the US Army Garrison Hawaii (USAG-HI) Directorate of Public Works (DPW) environmental GIS database and Master Planning Division intranet site to include civil infrastructure and utilities.
Responsibilities include updating and editing GIS data as needed, field data collection with GPS and map creation and printing.
The employee will also be responsible for ensuring the GIS data meets all data standards outlined by the Army.
The position is located at Wheeler Army Airfield which is located on Schofield Barracks, Oahu, Hawaii.
Required Job Qualifications A BS or BA degree.
Experience in the management of geospatial data within the ESRI suite of products or similar relevant experience.
The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the U.
S.
by proposed start date; CEMML will not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
Candidates are required at a minimum to complete a NACI/SF85 and successfully pass a federal background check to remain eligible for employment by CSU.
